The Drama Drug

Ah, drama. The intense conflict of a random situation. Kicking this habit is difficult. After all, we as people are drawn to stories.

Drama makes for great stories. If I torture a character, let’s say a betrayal by a lover, that will have more effect on many than physical torture.

While this is fantastic in writing, real life has its own drama. Running headlong into unnecessary struggles, conflicts between people, and cognitive dissonance all create drama.\

Fact is, we don’t need as much drama in our lives as we often create. Learn to live with peace in your soul, and the drama evaporates, leaving healing in its wake.
